Off to Korea (my pictures, that is)

I finished my big project and all the pictures are in mail on their way to the publisher in Korea! Wow - I worked hard: a couple of weeks for sketches, then 5 books painted in 5 weeks. That really is a record for me! The books, about a little girl and her dog, will be in English, not Korean. I gather Korean children start learning English very young indeed. I am amazed, my editor told me that the books will be published in February. Here in the States it usually takes about a year from when the illustrator finishes until a book is published. Clearly everything moves quickly in Korea!
